The 25th Annual Webby Awards is thrilled to honor Celeste Barber with a 2021 Webby Special Achievement Award for using her online platform to create a safe, body positive digital forum on social media.  

What started as a hilarious way to make fans laugh through #CelesteChallengeAccepted, and her recreation of famous celebrity images on her Instagram has blossomed into a rallying cry with over 2.2 million subscribers that advocates for body positivity. From poking fun at the hypercurated and edited  nature of photos created for Instagram, to parodying models and influencers, covering similar topics on through her Showtime program Challenge Accepted on Amazon Prime, to her hilarious Tom Ford collaboration on Instagram for New York Fashion Week, Celeste Barber challenges the very narrow beauty standards popular culture places on women. In an oversaturated digital landscape, #CelesteChallengeAccepted cuts through the noise with humor, and indirectly forces viewers to challenge the societal belief at the root of what makes her recreation humorous.
